Aran Rodríguez (b. 1989, Barcelona) is a photographer and audiovisual producer working with a strong authorial vision while offering studio-grade productions. Trained in Philosophy (BSc, University of Barcelona) and Photography (IEFC, Barcelona), he approaches every project — whether a still photograph or a full video production — with the same governing idea: a documentary eye applied with a studio's discipline.

Through Aran R. Studio, Aran leads photography and audiovisual productions for architecture, hospitality, and branded content clients, working across the full arc of a project — concept, production, and delivery. His range spans architectural and interior photography to video direction and the technical production of live and broadcast formats, including full-scale podcast and content productions. It is this versatility, photographer and producer in equal measure, that allows him to move fluidly between still image, moving image, and live production without losing a coherent point of view.

That point of view was shaped by years of long-term documentary work. Aran has developed personal documentary projects in Spain, Greece, the UK, and, more extensively, Brazil, where several projects emerged from two years living within communities in the country's north. He has collaborated with the Latin American photojournalism agency Agência Plano, published in magazines including PZZ Brasil and LF Magazine, and received an honorable mention at the Brasília Photo Show Festival (2017); his work has been exhibited in Spain, the UK, and Brazil. This documentary practice remains active today, including a forthcoming project on the "double exile" of Syrian-Circassian communities between Uzunyayla, Turkey, and Amman, Jordan.

It is this duality — an author's eye, applied with a studio's discipline, across both photography and video — that defines how Aran approaches every project, regardless of scale.
